Welcome to QuoteGuru. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the QuoteGuru mobile application (“App”), website at www.quote-guru.co.uk (“Website”), and all related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by QuoteGuru (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, or “User”) and QuoteGuru. We recommend that you print or save a copy of these Terms for your records.
QuoteGuru is a mobile application designed for UK tradespeople, contractors, and small business owners. The Service provides tools for:
The Service is available on iOS (via the Apple App Store) and Android (via Google Play). Certain features may vary between platforms, and we reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You agree to update your information promptly to keep it accurate and complete.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that your account has been compromised or is being used in violation of these Terms.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including client information, quotes, and business records. We encourage you to maintain your own backups of important business data. Our data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
QuoteGuru offers the following subscription plans:
The Starter plan is available at no cost and provides access to core quoting features with certain limitations, including a restricted number of quotes per month, a single PDF template, and basic functionality. The Starter plan is designed to help you evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription.
The Basic plan unlocks additional features including multiple PDF templates, quote duplication, calendar and job scheduling, and an increased quote allowance. The Basic plan is billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The Pro plan provides full access to all QuoteGuru features, including the AI Pricing Assistant, digital signatures, advanced analytics, company logo on PDFs, PDF export reports, priority support, and unlimited quotes. The Pro plan is billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
All paid subscriptions are processed and billed through the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the payment terms of the respective app store platform. Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and may vary in other currencies based on the app store’s conversion rates. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ prior notice.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal through your device’s app store settings (Apple App Store or Google Play).
We offer a 7-day free trial for the Basic and Pro subscription plans. The free trial allows you to experience the full features of the selected plan before being charged.
You may cancel your free trial at any time during the 7-day period through your device’s app store settings. If you cancel during the trial, you will retain access to the plan’s features until the end of the trial period, after which your account will revert to the Starter (free) plan. No charges will be applied if you cancel within the trial period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by managing your subscription settings through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period. Deleting the App from your device does not cancel your subscription.
Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to your paid plan’s features until the end of the current billing period. After the billing period expires, your account will revert to the Starter (free) plan. Your data, including quotes, clients, and job records, will be retained but certain features may become inaccessible under the free plan.
As subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, refund requests must be directed to the respective platform:
Refund eligibility and processing are subject to the policies of Apple and Google respectively. We do not process refunds directly for app store purchases. If you experience any issues with the Service that you believe warrant a refund, please contact us at support@quote-guru.co.uk and we will do our best to assist you.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this Acceptable Use Policy, including suspension or termination of your account and reporting to law enforcement authorities where appropriate.
The Service, including the App, Website, and all content, features, functionality, design, graphics, trademarks, logos, and software, is owned by QuoteGuru or its licensors and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. The QuoteGuru name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of QuoteGuru. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.
You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store within the Service, including quotes, client data, business information, logos, and digital signatures (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Service (“Feedback”), you grant us an unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk. QuoteGuru is a tool to assist with quote creation and job management; it does not provide financial, legal, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of all quotes you create and send to your clients.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
